Katie was born, raised and currently resides in Denton County. She spent most of her growing up years on her family’s farm. There she enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors, caring for different types of farm animals, and hard work. Her dad is her hero. He raised her to see the value in hard work and helping others. She has many fond memories: riding on the tractor with him as he bailed hay, him allowing her to drive their old farm truck while he loaded the bails, riding her horse, being outside and “helping” her dad with farm projects. His love and zeal for serving those in need he has passed to her. She finds such JOY in being available to help and serve others.
She started working in Real Estate as a Transaction Coordinator in order to serve her family, working from home while caring for her 3 small children. She was surprised to find how much she enjoyed the world of real estate while she provided this service to her broker’s clients. The broker she worked for provided her with on the job training as Katie worked to earn her Real Estate Sales license. The people she has had the privilege of serving and relationships her job allows her to be a part of has brought such sweetness to her life.
She walks with her clients, step by step, through the process of buying/selling, all the while with the goal in mind of reducing any stress and giving her clients confidence to make wise decisions. Let’s be real, Real Estate transactions are stressful! It’s a large amount of money on the line and every detail matters. She understands it’s not just the financial side of things, but also the life transitions and big changes that can be stressful. She is a listening ear, a solutions-finder, and an encourager through and through! Her clients and their families’ best are her #1 priority.

Talitha and her husband, James have loved living in Sanger for the last 8 years and been in Denton County for over 32 years. James serves the Denison community as a Firefighter Engineer. They just celebrated their 15th year anniversary. Together they have the sweetest daughter who loves dinosaurs. They love spending quality time together outdoors and at the gym. Talitha also is very involved in helping with the youth department at her church.
After leaving her career at Nordstrom, Talitha pursued real estate to take everything she learned about communication to find exactly what the customer wanted/needed and helping them with outstanding customer service. She brings a skill set of integrity, excellence, and the ability to effectively communicate. It’s important for her that they find the right partners for each of their individual real estate needs.
